Dune managers & Decision makers

We have supported coastal managers, including those working with or owning sand dune sites, to better understand coastal processes under climate change and ecosystem-based techniques for dune resilience. We have provided innovative education and learning opportunities to empower dune managers and decision makers to make physical change on the ground at their dune sites. Specific training has been designed to ensure stakeholders received full benefit and could reach full potential of their management capacity.  This training has been made available online, on our ENDURE YouTube channel for future use.

We have brought peer groups together for active exchange and learning in a real world context. We have created a lasting knowledge base and improved capacity in coastal dune managers. This has closed a gap identified in stakeholder consultations.

This activity was led by CPIE Val d'Authie, but all partners provided training for dune managers.
