With our urban areas and cities constantly growing, we face a wide range of challenges. Nature based solutions are designed to tackle these challenges together with nature by using natural processes to support actions.
Ghent University have developed a tool underpinned by science, for spatial planners and others, to explain how changes in land use might affect ecosystem services. Different scenarios can be compared to find an optimal solution for both humans and nature.
