CPIE is an organisation geared towards educating on environment and sustainable development based in the Pas de Calais at Auxi Le Château. CPIE conducts training and events for the public and works closely with local authorities on territorial projects.
The ENDURE project will allow us to increase our presence in the coastal part of our territory by implementing scientific actions (such as the marram grass protocol), training and awareness actions to varied audiences as well as working with new partners.
This project will also be an opportunity for CPIE to acquire new technical skills from members of the partnership.
As part of the ENDURE project, the CPIE Vald’Authie will take part in different activities:
- Raise public awareness of the experimental tests carried out by our partner CEREMA
- Take part in the marram grass protocol on the dunes in the departements of the Somme, the Pas de Calais and the Nord.
- Coordinate the awareness raising activities carried out by our project partners.
- We will also carry out awareness raising activities on the importance of conservation of natural dunes to enable better resilience to effects of climate change.
